The Transylvanian Kids Are All Right

Today my NYFF review of the not-a-horror-flick horror flick Întregalde from Romania went up at The Film Experience -- click on over for it! I actually saw this circa TIFF but it stuck on my brain for a couple of weeks, even amid the many many movies I was seeing, which is obviously a good sign. Anyway I am not sure at this point if this will be my final NYFF review or not -- I'd hate for it to be as there are several gigantic movies like Dune and The French Dispatch and Parallel Mothers and The Power of the Dog that I haven't officially written up (although I did share thoughts on several of those on Twitter, at least) -- but I'm so burned out at this point, not to mention in the middle of three other fests all of a sudden (Nightstream and Brooklyn Horror and NewFest oh my) that it could be. At least until things quiet down a tad, anyway. Is that ever going to happen? If I drop dead maybe! Maybe I'll die! Stay tuned!
