It's been an excellent week for we fans of the Nivola -- with the Sopranos prequel film The Many Saints of Newark hitting theaters and HBO Max on Friday a couple of magazines have featured excellent photo-shoots of leading man Alessandro, including GQ, which include the two you see here before the break. The interview (which I'll admit I haven't had a chance to read yet) can be read here. I'll do it at lunch, I promise! As a huge Alessandro fan since the '90s, it's been nice to watch the publicity machine go to work on him. The Rolling Stone "digital cover story" from a few weeks ago is the most extensive biographical profile I've ever seen of him. And there was a whole interview on the USTA website during the US Open about his apparently obsession-level tennis fandom.
Most of the reviews, besides raving about his performance, are taking the tack of "why isn't this man a huge star already?" Hope he's enjoying all this!
