"For me it's always Strangers on a Train that I thought of when I saw her. She's charming in Stage Fright but Strangers was the best role she had... It is too bad she didn't act more since she had a sure comic touch. But she can't be faulted for choosing to concentrate on raising her family, especially since she was always so willing to share her memories of her parents at any time.."--- That's reader Joel memorializing an MNPP Forever Fave with the death of Patricia Hitchcock, daughter to Alfred & Alma and an always welcome screen-presence that we totally adored. Is it “Practical Magic”?
Nope not Practical Magic
No idea but, I do find that first photo interesting 😉
Awakenings?
Awakenings is correct! Great work, Fred :)
It was the ouija board that did it for some reason.
I wouldn't be surprised if it was Robin Williams' TREMENDOUSLY HAIRY FOREARMS that triggered your memory, because I thought for sure somebody would notice those things lol
the husband and i just watched a fascinating documentary about the real doctor robin played. it's called "Oliver Sacks His Own Life" (2019)
he was a very interesting (and very handsome when he was young) he was closeted because of his work and he had a hard time being close to people.
a kind gentle soul with a great sense of humor. we loved it.
