I've been feeling somewhat emotionally ambivalent about Chris Hemsworth these past few quarantine weeks (and please do note that I specified "emotional ambivalence" -- I still have all sorts of less complicated feelings that stir at the sight of him no problemo) as we've seen him time and again out in public with bunches of people and no mask anywhere in sight...
... part of me wonders if the tone of his new cover story interview with GQ Australia, which is accompanied by this typical tongue-bather of a photo-shoot, is a response that that general air,
since Chris talks a lot about Our Personal Responsibility To The World

idk if it would make you feel better or worse to know this but, chris has a private beach on his property. (i personally know this from talking to someone who knows chris but tabloids have mentioned it too).
the people he’s been seen surfing with are brothers and close friends, who all have houses on his property too. (my source has told me about how chris lives with his friends but his friend luke zocchi has also mentioned living “right by chris” on his instagram stories a number of times).
so yea, chris isn’t breaking any rules to go surfing with friends/family because he doesn’t have to. he just doesn’t like to advertise that fact too loudly (for super obvious reasons). 🖤
