The Shining turns 40 tomorrow! And since I won't be posting tomorrow, in a brave accordance with my wish to continue observing the former entity known as "weekends," I post this news today, on a Friday. Yes, it is a Friday. Apparently. Anyway I'm pretty sure I'm going to watch The Shining tonight in order to celebrate, maybe you should too. But just for Shelley Duvall. Because she's the real reason for the season.
