My Heart Has Made Its Mind Up

.
.
Not sure when this video of Armie Hammer reading poetry in Central Park was filmed, but I'm not ready to crucify him with snark like the Post did when they shared this -- judging off Armie's own Instagram account I think he left New York when his Broadway show closed up due to the Broadway shut-down, aka like a day after I saw the show. Speaking of, I haven't said anything about that because 1) I was in a weird freaked-out place when I saw the show and it seemed like everybody on stage and in the audience was in the same place -- it was a weird experience. The show was good, sharp stuff from Tracy Letts, but I don't think any of our hearts were really in the experience of being there, taking it in. No idea if it will re-open after this... break we're in... but in related news, his Call Me By Your Name co-star Timothee Chalamet's show in London just got cancelled today. That's a shame. He's supposed to be so great on stage, too. (thx Mac)

My friend saw this and Gena Rowlands was in the audience. She signed autographs after the show. I wanted to see this in NYC this Spring. I also wanted to see The Inheritance, Diana, the Musical, Flying Over Sunset and Girl of the North Country. I don't think I'll be able to come to NYC this Spring, though, due to the virus. May have to cancel Europe as well and I already have the tickets!

Sir Patrick Stewart is posting a live reading of a Shakespeare sonnet every day on Facebook.

Saw Patrick Stewart as George in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? at the Guthrie, opposite Mercedes Ruehl, and in Waiting for Godot on Broadway, at the Cort Theater, with Ian McKellan!
