Good Morning, World

.
I am a part of the problem, because I haven't watch Jonathan Tucker's last show, the one called City on a Hill. The one you see pictured here -- the one that apparently gifted us with these beautiful and bounteous tighty-whitied gifts on display. I did read that it got renewed for another season -- and with a cast like Tucker, Kevin Bacon, Aldis Hodge, and Mark O'Brien (oh Mark O'Brien) it certainly should -- but it doesn't feel like it got talked about very much, and now Tucker's signed on for yet another show (a sci-fi drama called Debris, read about that here)... I can't keep up. Did any of you watch City on a Hill? Plan on keeping watching it? Will Tucker be in its second season too, or will he drift on to the new show? So many questions, so little coffee...

I suffered through the first 3 episodes then gave up. Tuck and OBrien has the best storyline but we're the tertiary story and I couldn't do it.

I watched all of it even when I wasn't sure if I would come back for another episode. Bacon is terrific as a sleazy detective. There is a lot of kitchen sink drama thrown in with the catch the criminal stuff, and Tucker probably has the best part he's had since Kingdom in which he was exceptional and showed a range I never realized he had. That said the series itself, to me, couldn't seem to jump out of the ordinary or the "we've seen all this before" category. However, given the talent involved, I'll stick around for the next season. But, it's not a page turner in any sense.
