I feel like we've been seriously under-valuing Mia Wasikowska for too long, you guys. She's turning 30 today so I looked through her IMDb page and it was just one eye-popping turn after another -- I knew I liked her (there are far fewer actresses with tags here on MNPP than there are actors and she's among them) but looking at it in that context, taking it all in at once, it was several firm slaps across the face. We should be celebrating her more vociferously! So that's why I'm here now. Here are...

Oh, Stoker ... It was such camp fun, wasn't it? It's funny to think it was one of the most coveted scripts in Tinseltown for a very long time and then it seemingly came and went, causing a mere ripple as opposed to making waves. (Which, unfortunately and undeservingly, seems to be the case with quite a few of the movies Mia's done.)

I'll just add to all these stellar performances the one that immediately pops to my mind, as Sophie in fantastic tv show "In Treatment".
It's been quite some time since I've seen it, but I remember her being just brilliant. (As well as the rest of the cast)
Stoker is one of my favorite films, so that definitely leads the list. And I am a big fan of Only Lovers Left Alive and The Double too, so I'll add those two performances as well. And I guess my last two would be Maps to the Stars and Madame Bovary.
