13 Cakes of Halloween #2

.
First things first here's a brand new reason to love The Internet -- somebody has gifted us with a recipe for the Eyeball Infected Harvest Cake from Sam Raimi's 2009 film Drag Me To Hell. Eyeball and all! They say to make the eyeball out of sugar paste but that seems kinda alf-assed to me -- cow eyes are just a click away, y'all. Or, I'm just saying, every random person on the street is carrying around two of their own! Who needs two?? Hoarders. Dig right in!
.
I wish I could have found a behind-the-scenes photo of Alison Lohman handling that cartoonishly enormous fork that they used for that single split-second shot above, but given what an undeserved flop this flick turned out to be in theaters I'm not surprised we're not drowning in supplemental materials. Which is a true tragedy. Drag Me To Hell, which just turned 10 a few months back, deserves so very much better.

GAAAH I am so making this cake! This scene is SO GOOD, so excruciating. This whole movie is so good -- "I don't want your cat, you dirty pork queen!" is a regular line in my household -- and Alison Lohman's subsequent disappearance is just a damn tragedy. Thanks for the recipe, I'm off to get me a gaggle of geese!
