Today's Fanboy Delusion

Today I'd rather be...

... circling the block with Jon Hamm.

In the most obscene display of gratuitous gray sweatpants since Justin Theroux rocked the nation to its very core on The Leftovers the new Amazon series of Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett's book Good Omens went and had Jon Hamm -- Jon Hamm, Noted Bulge Aficionado -- of all people jog towards a camera while wearing gray sweatpants, and to be quite frank (heh) I'm surprised he didn't knock both my eyes out.

I actually keep forgetting that Amazon dropped the show already and I haven't yet started watching -- I have to thank some rando on Tumblr for alerting me to this scene's presence. Randos on Tumblr are doing the lord's work. Anyway if any of you have watched the series yet I'd appreciate a heads up (heh) on the show, quality-wise.

I quite liked it. The humor is British and dry, which is what I love about it. The storytelling slows a bit in episode two and three, but it IS fleshing out the (long) relationship between Crowley and Aziraphale. The theme song will definitely get stuck in your head.

I have read that Jon Hamm doesn't like to talk about or acknowledge his huge penis. Apparently he doesn't mind showing it off?

Other photos of Hamm’s bouncing bits have been posted all over the Internet. So he must know people are watching. Do you think that forgot to provide him some kind of jock strap to hold it in place or was it included deliberately?

The show was great. My friend has some trepidations beforehand since she read and loves the book, but she thought they adapted it wonderfully. As someone who hasn't read the book, I thought the world and character-building were top-notch.

I liked it a lot. It’s CGI budget is a bit short of its reach and I wasn’t over keen on the child actors, but David Tennant’s walk deserves an award all in its own and I love Michael Sheen in anything. I loved the book and thought they made a pretty good job of adapting it.

Hmmm, after conducting an intensive study of these pics, I'm going to wager that Hamm actually IS wearing some kind of underwear in these shots. It's not actually moving at all and seems somewhat...smaller, honestly...than when he's going commando just walking down the street. Maybe he's learned that if he doesn't want people talking about it, he needs to keep it in place. But obviously wearing grey sweatpants is going to get people talking no matter what.
