Aaron is the King of Men

.
Sometimes it feels like I'm alone on my "liking the Kingsman movies" island -- people on Twitter are always so angry at them! I think they're goofy fun, hardly the sexist claptrap they get painted as, and so I personally am thrilled they're getting (at least) a third film. Anyway one benefit of feeling like a lone voice in the room on these is this film  -- which is a prequel set in the 90s showing the origin of the titular Kingsman secret society -- feels like it's being made just for me, and with the casting news we've been getting out of it as of late now, uh, even more so. Aaron Taylor Johnson has just joined the cast! He'll star alongside delicious Daniel Brühl and deliciouser Harris Dickinson, plus Gemma Aterton and Charles Dance and oh right Ralph fucking Fiennes. Anyway this will reunite Aaron with his Kick-Ass director Matthew Vaughn, who never shied away from shooting Aaron like a greek god, so let's hope for more of this...

The problem with the Kingsman films is that they kill off the whole cast in every movie. Also, yes, Aaron Taylor Johnson is very nice, but my interest in the Kingsman franchise doesn't extend much past Taron Egerton.
