I always get a good response from you tasteful folks when I post my, excuse me our, beloved Matthias Schoenaerts, enough that I wonder why he doesn't get photographed for fashion layouts more often. But then I wonder - is it just that y'all with good taste know to hang around here because Matthias might show up - the pool is small, but the pool is present? If I build it, will you come? I don't know, this is all too existential for me still this morning, let's just keep it simple and look at this cover shoot for GQ Italia that showed up over the holidays after the jump...

I guess you wouldn't agree with whichever idiot wrote the subhead for that GQ cover: "With his kinda-meh face, he plays the fool onscreen. But in real life, he's a positive thinker. And he water the geraniums" I mean... WTF?!
