Everything You Ever Need To Know About Life...

... you can learn from:

Giulia: What was Marcello like as a student?
Professor Quadri: Serious. Too serious!
Giulia: But you can't be too serious.
Prof. Quadri: Really serious people are never serious.

RIP Bertolucci.

I didn't always love his work, in fact he made three films-Luna, The Last Emperor and especially The Sheltering Sky that I actively hate-but I did really like 1900.

Il Conformista and Novecento both i consider basic essential viewing, plus he acted as Luca Guadagnino’s mentor no matter how much he would despise that word and the idea behind it. RIP, Maestro.

The Conformist is my favorite, followed by Last Tango.
