Good Morning, World

.
Has anybody watched the first two episodes of Matthew Weiner's The Romanoffs on Amazon yet? I have not gotten around to it just yet myself, and I've heard opinions varying wildly via the Twitter box, but knowing that there is Half Naked Corey Stoll waiting for me (thx Mac), well, that's putting some pressure on anyway.

Okay okay most of the pressure I am feeling is in my pants, you got me. Whatever. Whatever gets me there! Right, Weiner? Right. Anyway I guess each ep's a stand-alone, and a new one drops every week, so it's not a rush. I can stroll leisurely like I'm Corey Stoll in his boxer shorts. Just like that. Sigh. Hit the jump for more...

He certainly gives Stanley Tucci a run for the money for sexiest bald guy. I honestly wouldn't be able to choose.

When I first saw him in House of Cards, I was smitten. But none of my gay friends seemed to think of him the same way. So I'm happy that he's celebrated on this website. Deservingly so.

I was a freshman in college when Man Men began and I watched til the very end. Saying I loved every minute of it would be an understatement. The character of Peggy will always hold a special place in my heart. I don’t think I’ve ever been more conscious of seeing a character grow up beyond the actor just aging. Does that make sense? Anyways, what I’m getting is that I think my expectations were a bit high for a new show being put out by Matthew Weiner. It appears Amazon is just throwing money at the series and maybe has no say in the script. Because the production and acting are great but it’s like what is the point of this. lol Maybe you have to have an affinity for the history the show is making a reference to. I don’t know. Also, the episodes tend to run a bit long. Having seen the first three episodes I’d say the following for each. Episode one, watch because it’s basically the pilot and supposed to be a strong start in theory. Also, there’s a dog in it. Episode two, well it’s all about Corey. He gets to do stuff and he takes his shirt off. Episode three, you get Isabelle Huppert playing a director and it deals with a series being filmed so like acting and the stuff behind the production. If you do watch I’d love to know what you think.
