Hey look I am posting something on the weekend! It's crazy! So it goes when a film festival is going on, and The New York Film Festival is now in session. Our actual reviews are going up at The Film Experience but here at MNPP we've been sharing each day's press screenings. See all the previous stuff here. September 30th
Western (dir. Valeska Grisebach)
Sometimes at film fests you need to pick a couple titles out of thin air and go in entirely blind, and Western is one of those ones. The only thing I know is that Nathaniel at TFE loved the movie. And it is Bulgarian? I don't know the plot, I am not familiar with the people who made it; I'm purposefully avoiding any more anything. So this doesn't make for the most exciting entry then does it?
