A happy 56 to Campbell Scott today - do you guys think he'll ever win an Oscar? He's been underrated his entire dang career, it seems, but he keeps plugging on, being great. I just saw Longtime Companion for the first time a month or two ago and that's what, 1989? He's been plugging along, being great, for almost thirty years now. Anyway the lines above are from Prisoner and they are one of my favorite movie exchanges of ever - it's weird how often I try to work all that into conversation. Straight up weird. I do love my mostly dead colloquialisms though.
