Good Morning, Gratuitous Yoo Gong

.
This post is coming at you a little later than normal this morning because when I started writing it it morphed instead of just an appreciation of beefcake into a review of the movie Train to Busan, which is where I first saw this fine gentleman named Yoo Gong. So I am having to re-write this with a more generic "Hey this is one fine dude!" spiel, which goes better alongside the beefcake, and then I will post that review after I post this beefcake appreciation. In case you were wondering? Anyway say hi to Yoo Gong!

.
Goddamn indeed. Over at The Film Experience Nat gave good lovin' to Yoo (and several other underrated 2016 hotties) over the holidays and reminded me this post was needed, and so here we are. Especially once I did a deep dive into the photo-shoots that dude's taken over the past few years - he is not shy!

Nor should he be! So like I said Yoo starred this year on the international zombie sensation Train to Busan (which I will post my review of shortly) and he also starred in The Age of Shadows, which is South Korea's Oscar submission for the year, and which I am hoping to watch this upcoming weekend.

A lot of people are criticizing SK for nominating Shadows over Park Chan-wook's The Handmaiden, and knowing my profound love for The Handmaiden even sight unseen I think those people are probably right, but I still wanna watch Age of Shadows and I still look forward to having more of Yoo in my life.

Speaking of more Yoo in our lives you, and me, and all of us, we can hit the jump for over 50 more pics I gathered up..

Yes more of Yoo Gong and less of horse-face Jake please! By the way, he also starred in a Korean TV series many years ago where he played a waiter falling in love with a boy who turned out to be a girl in the end. He was utterly adorable in that show!
