Good Morning, Westworld

.
I know this howl of rage is a week late - I fell a little behind with my Westworld viewing - but WHAT THE FUCK, show, with that blanket. I mean REALLY. Tessa Thompson wouldn't take the time to put a robe on before opening the door but she would take the time to swaddle Rodrigo's bits? COME ON.

All the articles were right - they did reveal the bad guy to the show last week and the bad guy is that damn blanket. Aaaanyway I am all caught up now, through this week's episode, so y'all should tell me your thoughts / opinions on the show in the comments! After we hit the jump and stare at some more naked Rodrigo Santoro (excuse me "Naked" must be in quotation marks thanks to that damn blanket)...

My neighbor comes over every Sunday night and we sit there mesmerized as this ViewMaster of a show unfolds and after every episode I just keep muttering to myself "Thandie Newton". For us she has become the heart of the show.

I got a subscription to HBO just to see this show...and it hasn't disappointed. Although... I'd like to see some man on man action. I say James Marsden's robot be programmed to provide some lonely male tourist some lovin'

I enjoy the show very much, but I'm not as sold on it as the hype that surrounds it. My feeling is that it is in danger of making the same mistakes Lost made. There are simply too many "mysteries" week after week with the seeming addition of another mystery rather than real plot advancement. I know they want the show to run at least 5 seasons, but it's starting to feel too drawn out to me. They almost lost me early on, but I've stayed with it in hopes that there will be more to move me. The thing that keeps everything moving on Game of Thrones is the investment you have in the characters....and......the plotting, wondering what course of action each main character will take to get what they want. It is not a gazillion mysteries that remain unsolved week after week.
