Pop Mayhem

.
If you're like me and you think you don't have nearly enough Jude Law in your life well here's some happy news - besides that Young Pope series he's got coming our way in a couple of months he's just signed on for a groovy-sounding movie. Brady Corbet, the actor turned director we were just talking about the other day, is making his third movie and he's gathering up a much bigger group of names than he previously has - the film, titled Vox Lux, will star Jude Law & Rooney Mara and will have a soundtrack from hair-chanteuse Sia.

It's about a Forrest Gump type figure who floats through the past fifteen years' worth of "the important cultural revolutions" -- it's also mentioned that the main character "rises from the ashes of a major national tragedy to pop superstardom" and, well, given the timeline doesn't it almost sound like it's possible this movie's going to a pop musical about 9/11? Am I nuts? That would be something, anyway!
