This Thursday marks the 70th birthday of the great actor Tommy Lee Jones, who is best known for his portrayal of the detective John Neville in the 1978 film The Eyes of Laura Mars...
... or he should be best known for Laura Mars anyway - everybody who had anything to do with that movie should be best known for it! Anyway yes Tommy Lee is turning 70, and we like him very much, for Laura Mars and other lesser roles, and if you head on over to The Film Experience we're celebrating his big birthday with a contest which he will inevitably lose, because we're jerkwads. Oh well. Don't hold it against us, Tommy Lee. (Sigh, look at that face - he's totally gonna hold it against us.)

I remember when he had the small role of Ryan O'Neal's room mate in Love Story. Good performance and I knew he'd go places as an actor.
