Quote of the Day

.
"It just never occurred to me that [Jake] should shave his chest! I happen to like body hair. I think people should leave it alone — I’m not a fan of all this manscaping that goes on. I don’t really get it.” Ford gestured southward. “If you like the chest, you should see what’s down here... There is no manscaping.” Ford repeated it for emphasis: “There is no manscaping.”

With that image of his untrammelled leading man in mind, the interview was done, though Ford wasn’t. After we finished our discussion, the provocative designer-director walked me to the door and winked. “Nice talking to you,” he said, adding, “I’ll get Jake to show you his bush sometime.”

That's the capper from Vulture's interview with Nocturnal Animals director and consummate fashion perv Tom Ford -- bless Kyle Buchanan, the Vulture writer who always gets the good scoop for all the movies. He'd actually spilled the beans on this on Twitter way back... not that I'd have been able to hold in such a conversation myself either. All you'd hear from me is JAKE GYLLENHAAL'S BUSH THIS and JAKE GYLLENHAAL'S BUSH THAT. Oh and thanks to all of you (so many of you) who sent this in to me over the weekend - you know me and my interests so well.

I'm with Mr. Ford - no manscapping! It should be illegal! Especially when it comes to guys like Jake and chest or his bush!

Trimming is fine. Shaving/waxing is unnecessary.

Thank you Tom Ford, for understanding one of the basic principles of male beauty. And thank you, Jake Gyllenhaal, for.... well, thanks for that chest!
