Not sure where IHJM dug this picture up from, but here's a delightful vintage picture of an adorable 18 year old Jake Gyllenhaal at a 1999 party for Sex and the City sandwiched between Marcia Cross and Kristin Davis -- Melrose Place reunion, holla! (Oh my god remember when Brooke was all drunk and crying about Billy and she slipped and drowned in the pool??? DRAMA.) Anyway I searched through their credits to find some overlap - Davis sure seems on familiar terms with Jake - but couldn't find any; I guess growing up in the business Jake probably knew everybody from early on. Or Kristin Davis just wanted to grab his face. I can certainly understand that.

Oh my God, as soon as I saw this pic I was like, "when was Jake on Melrose Place? How do I not remember that?" But now I'm wondering when Cross was ever on SatC.
Anyway, as attractive as Jake is, I'm always surprised no one ever mentions how goofy-looking he can be, both then and now.
