Early breaking news! Jai Courtney's on the cover of the new issue of Esquire Latin America with a beard and a football - this is not a drill. We haven't got more of the photos from the shoot yet, but the magazine's Facebook page says that the shoot is a tribute to the "fever of American Football" and I have the fever... oh, it burns. (The magazine also translates his Suicide Squad character's name to "Captain Psychopath" which I like much more than Captain Boomerang.) 

Anyway if you've been paying attention then you know this is the second picture in as many days of Jai teasing out our jock fantasies since we saw him fingering some pigskin yesterday too in pictures from his other upcoming movie Man Down. Jai would be fun in a locker-room dontcha think...

Okay if you've never seen this it's from a 2005 Australian short film called Boy's Grammar and the scene is I must warn you very disturbing -- it is a male-on-male rape scene. And somehow it's on YouTube! What a world we live in; this all took a dark turn fast. Anyway I always take comfort in the conflicting feelings these sorts of things stir up in the fact that it's all play-acting and this isn't actually rape happening -- it's actually just a bunch of attractive actors rubbing on each other - step outside of their pretend into your own, more fun pretend. You do what you need to to make it through the day, folks. That said, you do what you need to do.
