A new still from Derek Cianfrance's upcoming film The Light Between Oceans, with Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander, was released this weekend, putting the closeness of those leads front and center. (Gossipy aside: are these two still together or what?) The film, based on the bestselling book by ML Stedman, is out in September -- in case you missed the trailer watch it here. It looks pretty and pretty depressing! PS I am still totally weirded out that Vikander's doing Tomb Raider next. Isn't that weird?

It's not just weird. It is horrible. The worst thing that could have happened. Donald Trump could become the next president and it wouldn't be half as bad for the world. Why do they promote her like crazy by the way? I feel like they're (Hollywood) is shoving her down my throat. She's been horribly plain and uncoloured in absolutely everything she's been in and they even gave her an award for her wooden performance...
