Put the Garfield in the Basket

I'm sure Andrew Garfield is in some ways disappointed that his Spider-Man movies never took off - he seemed to be a genuine nerd for the character from the start; an enthusiasm those cluttered things never entirely matched. But that loss is also his gain, and ours too, because dude is too good an actor for superhero stuff and now that he's done with Peter Parker he's moved on to real heroes like 99 Homes director Ramin Bahrani, Silence director Martin Scorsese...

... and now David Robert Mitchell, the director of It Follows. The two are teaming up for Under the Silver Lake, which is described as a "modern noir crime thriller" set in Los Angeles (one assumes the neighborhood of Silver Lake) but that's all we got so far.Anyway after It Follows I will follow (hardy har) Mitchell anywhere and seedy California always sounds promising.
