My Beautiful Handmaiden

I haven't had the chance to go through the entire Cannes line-up yet, which was announced earlier today, but I have seen the news that Park Chan-wook's latest, The Handmaiden, will be playing, which is a thrill! Well it's a thrill for people going to Cannes I suppose, but those people's lives are filled with thrills, so fuck them. Ahem. The Handmaiden! The Film Stage has several of the first images from the movie, along with a pair of posters, my favorite seen above, which is just exquisite. We previously posted about this movie right here. The costuming looks as fine as what we saw in his last film Stoker, which was very fine indeed.
