The first trailer for Derek Cianfrance's The Light Between Oceans is here -- this is the movie, adapted from ML Stedman's best-seller, that stars Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander as a childless couple who live alone on the sea when a baby washes ashore, which they then decide to keep, only to years later meet and make friends with the child's true mother (played by a sad-eyed Rachel Weisz). Whatever will they do?

Listen, I know what I am going to do after watching this trailer -- I am going to go climb in a life-boat and wash up on the beach outside Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander's house, that's what I am going to do, because then I'll get to walk on the beach and be spun around by Michael Fassbender. Dreams do come true!
