Today's Fanboy Delusion

Today I'd rather be...

... Evan Peters' plaything.

Listen, I did my best to clean up the NSFW (or home, or at all) context of this scene from last night's episode of American Horror Story: Hotel for those of you who're sensitive to such things, but there was only so far I could go -- it is after all a most grisly scene of sex and murder commingled. If it bugs you don't hit the jump, okay? The rest of us let's hit the jump, where I'll share the rest of this scene plus that scene (you know the one) with Finn Wittrock...

Unf, that strut. That's how you walk when you know the whole world is staring at your ass and nodding theirs heads saying yes, yes please.
.
And now for Finn's "Swipe Right For Romance" -- I really almost made this today's Way Not To Die post but I'd be doing a grave offense to the series, undermining its title so thoroughly - dying while mounting Finn Wittrock is not a bad fucking way to go in the slightest.

I never understood the appeal of Evan Peters until last night with this backstory sequence. He finally won me over. Maybe it's the new voice.

I liked the bit where Lady Gaga turns Finn Wittrock and he says the first person he wants to kill is Kendall Jenner. The line about her living through "wars, the depression, Clinton" was funny too.

Why is everyone OK with this season turning into some freakish "Faces of Death" S/M thing.

It's gross... and definitely unappealing.

As opposed to what, the first season with the man in the rubber suit raping everybody? This show has always been that.

Don't get me wrong. I'm enjoying this season immensely but, it does seem to me they just kind of said, I don't know if we have another season in us so lets just push this one as far as we can go and see who stays on for the ride. It's pretty much the wildest thing on cable tv at the moment and whether it's a true horror story or more of a "top this" event series, I'm hanging on til the end. Besides ...who can resist Matt and Finn in the same series.

I LOVE Evan's character this season...his voice is fantastic! Don't yell at me, but I have thought all of his previous characters were just different versions of "Angry Evan"...he is finally acting, and he is good!

Totally agree on the voice - it's a hoot. He's clearly been dying to go all out like this
