Before I could even hit post on that image of Michael Fassbender straining his period britches in Macbeth I found out that the trailer for A Bigger Splash - I Am Love director Luca Guadagnino's loose remake of La Piscine starring Tilda, Matthias Schoenaerts, Ralph Fiennes and Dakota Johnson - had dropped, and sure enough...

... as La Piscine was to "exploiting the beauty of Alain Delon" so seems A Bigger Splash to be here to exploit the beauty of Matthias Schoenaerts. The trailer's chockful of him (and Tilda and Ralph and Dakota, for that matter) making a gorgeous movie star(s). Watch!
