Drawing Forth Hell

.
As you can imagine the "Night on Bald Mountain" sequence in Disney's 1940 film Fantasia was immensely important in my childhood development as a future sick fuck. (Thanks to its 1982 re-release, that is - I'm not that old, people.) Man what a thrill it is, though! Devils and demons and all the scariest horrors let loose - it left a deep and lasting mark. So today's news that Disney's planning on turning that sequence into a live-action film, it... well my initial response was actually excitement, but then the horror of their Sorcerer's Apprentice movie, which I'd totally blocked out, washed over me... and now I'm not so sure. I just have my doubts that the Disney of 2015 has the balls to go where they went a full 65 years ago, ya know? Anyway here's the sequence in all its glory:
