Today would've been Billy Wilder's 109th birthday if the director had proven as immortal as his movies have, and we're celebrating him by devoting this week's "Beauty vs Beast" over at The Film Experience to arguably his best movie (although you could argue several different films for that honor) Sunset Boulevard. I know I know Bill Holden's got an uphill climb against Gloria Swanson's iconic movie man-eater Norma Desmond... which is why I am posting that picture above, to cloud your judgement. If you vote for Joe I promise he will rise from the grave and make sweet sweet love to you tonight! He'll probably then eat your brains or something, but it will have been worth it, don't ya think? William Holden was such a hot piece of ass. I always hated when they shaved down his chest (and leg) hair for certain movie roles. Thank God Billy Wilder liked hairy men just as much as I do.
