I'm digging the promotional art-work for the second season of Guillermo Del Toro's vampire series The Strain - the red-on-blue color scheme is giving me Suspiria vibes and I'll never be the one to turn down Suspiria vibes. Not the one!
But I'm re-annoyed to see that goddamned wig is still on Corey Stoll's head in the trailer. (Watch the trailer here.)
He lied to us last year and said that thing was perched up there for
a reason, and no reason - except for TRUE HORROR - ever arrived. I thought maybe it was the
vampire mastermind making its home up there and it would suddenly spring into action follicles first, but nothing. Nothing!
Inexplicable.
