... you can learn from:
The Princess Bride (1987)
Westley: Hear this now: I will always come for you.
Buttercup: But how can you be sure?
Westley: This is true love. You think this happens every day?
A very happy 49 to Robin Wright today.
Speaking of, did anybody else like The Congress? I was surprised by how much I liked The Congress - it had a terrible trailer that I actually would literally laugh at whenever they showed it before something (the Film Society of Lincoln Center was playing this trailer a lot in the fall) but one day I was bored and said what the hell and I actually found it fairly transfixing a film. It feels like a movie that fell through the cracks that will probably be rediscovered down the road. And Wright gives a lovely moving performance therein.

I liked The Congress a lot too. I hope more people will see it. Fascinating film, in so many ways. And I'd have been more than fine if she'd have been in the Best Actress race.
That travelling forward when she goes back from toon world to reality made me cry so hard...
