I accidentally stumbled upon that gorgeous fade between Mrs. Danvers and the wilderness while freeze-framing Rebecca this morning and I had to have it! Gif-wise, I mean. So there. Anyway in case you missed it - and I hope you did miss it because otherwise why has it only gotten two comments? - I closed out The Film Experience's team-viewing of Alfred Hitchcock's 1940 Oscar winner over the weekend, you can read it here.
And yes, I'm feeling a little bit frustrated about the ratio of "how hard I worked on that" to "how many comments it's gotten" - it's the online-writer's cross the bear. I know this is quite possibly the single most boring thing for a writer to write about - love me! I need your love! - but along with another post (which I'll be linking to in another post in just a minute) it was a loveless weekend of that kind and I'm feeling discouraged this morning. Anyway hi! Happy Monday!

As a fellow blogger, I feel your pain, dude.
I loved the entire wonderful project!
Don't assume lack of comments reflects lack of interest--in this case, it probably meant that nobody had anything to criticize.
I did comment on your terrific post over on TFE but I'll gladly reaffirm that I thought you're post on the final segment of Rebecca was highly enjoyable and a great wrap up.
Thanks, you guys - I was just being a lame-o this morning.
