So When Is Raphaël Personnaz...

.
... going to play Alain Delon in a bio-pic? That's all I could think while watching the movie SK1 the other night - in certain shots the resemblance is crazy uncanny. I think it was actually being played up on purpose - I noticed a sign in his character's office with Delon's name on it at one point. But still. It's true! I'm not really familiar with Raphaël Personnaz (I was surprised to see he was in Joe Wright's Anna Karenina; I really need to re-watch that movie) - has he got any fans here? What should I watch of his?

He's really good in the Princess of Montpensier and A New Girlfriend (the latest François Ozon film that also has Romain Duris in drag). He's in Karenina for just a few scenes (he plays Aaron Taylor-Johnson's brother) though the film's definitely worth watching again... Domhnall Gleeson is particularly good/yummy on second viewing !

If you have Netflix streaming, you can easily check him out in The French Minister (comedy), the two-part movie Marius and Fanny (romance), Three Worlds (drama), and Special Forces (action). He's quite a good actor and someone whose films I now keep an eye out for.

The first time I saw the movie Marius, I thought he was Alain Delon young son the resemblance was uncanny, so I started googling and hélas !he is not? Si on cherche un acteur pour jouer le role d'un juene Delon C'est bine lui.

As we say in Brazil, "não dá nem para a saída"! Which means "
not good even to start"!
