Quote of the Day

.
Go read the chat between Xavier Dolan and Jessica Chastain at Interview Magazine as soon as you get the chance, it's pretty delightful from start to finish - the two obviously have a lovely camaraderie and it will make you so so excited (if you weren't already, which you should have been) to see the fruits that will bloom when they make their new movie together. There's a really nice passage where Dolan talks about why he prefers to speak through female characters that will definitely make the rounds but I wanna share the bit where he talks about coming out because it literally, literally, made me LOL:

"I think everybody knew but me. I knew for sure when I was 11 or 12. I came out to my cousin when I was 13. I said something so stupid. If a kid said a line like that in a TV show, the screenwriter would be fired and killed immediately. I told her, 'I love women in my heart but not in my undies.'"

Ugh, this vile and vicious witch who effectively praised the joy and glory of the torture in that vile and vicious pro torture flick Zero dark thirty, should have kept her vile and vucious self from Xavier (or anyone or anything that needs to be protected from her toxicity )!

Chastain is no witch. You, Mr. 'DK468', on the other hand, sound like a mean sorceror.

Xavier's words are gold. It should be the dictionary explanation of homosexuality in my opinion. Not in love with women in the undies. So young and yet so eloquent. I love him.
