The Moment I Fell For... Charlie Cox

.
As I said in the previous post, this was overdue - I can't believe I hadn't shone a spotlight on the start of my torrid one-sided love-affair with Charlie before. I actually reviewed Stardust when it came out in 2007 and I wasn't nuts about the movie but I did write beside Charlie's name "New Crush Alert!" and good grief, was I under-selling the future of our romance. Charlie's probs top five for me. Anyway it's always the make-over sequence in Stardust that I flash back to when I think of falling for Charlie, but I can never decide if he's cuter before or after it. So let's all decide together!

Sorry but he is not my type. You can keep that one. He actually KILLED stardust (Both him and the people who adapted that one) one of the best novels ever turned into a tragic piece of crap. If only they had cast Henry in the leading role things could be different but still a tremendous disaster. Read the book and you'll understand.

I've read the book and I agree the movie's a terrible adaptation but I don't think CC is the problem with the movie at all; it stamps out all the wit in the book, and goes for surface flash. I don't think Henry Cavill would've fared any better with what they were doing.

Michelle Pfeiffer was everything in that movie!

Agree. Not even Henry could have saved that nightmare they made out of the dream that Stardust was but at least we would have seen more of him sooner. Also agree with Barry. Michelle was the one thing they got right. I can't recoment this book enough.
