After watching its first trailer I still don't know if Terrence Malick can win me back to the fold with his next movie Knight of Cups or not (I disliked The Tree of Life so much that I never bothered to see To the Wonder, which wasn't helped out by the presence of Ben Affleck or the promise of even more spiritual upchuck), but I do know that that shot of Christian Bale (looking somewhat cleaned up, huzzah) and Jason Clarke (always looking just right) is up my alley. It was just announced the movie will play the Berlin Fest in February; if nothing else I am sure Cate Blanchett will be terrific and Wes Bentley will look cute. Here's the trailer:
