Small Screen Big Hardy

Do any of you guys watch Peaky Blinders? I keep being tempted by it when I'm on Netflix and see the pictures of Tom hardy with his big beautiful bushy face staring back at me, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. Y'all let me know if I should shuffle it forward in the line-up or not. Meanwhile, there's more Tom on TV news to be had - back in April it was announced that he was re-teaming with his Locke director Steven Knight to make Taboo for the BBC, which I said at the time, and I quote, "is about a dude seeking adventure and trade in early 19th Century Africa. I hope it involves lots of tight Indiana-Jones-ish pants and sweat." I say the darndest things. Anyway now comes word that the show's been picked up States-side for FX, it'll film "later this year" (by which I think they might mean 2015? They're not clear but there's not a lot of 2014 left!), and that it'll air in 2016. So everybody buy a great big calendar and write that down.
