That's Laura Dern talking about the possibility of Enlightened, her beyond-brilliant show with Mike White, staging a comeback a la Aunt Sassy. (thanks Mac) My boyfriend and I have had some variant of this conversation a dozen times squared over the past several months, so to hear Dern herself taking it on, well, it's sweet sweet music, y'all. 

That said I do feel like White & Dern managed to close Enlightened up on a pitch-perfect note, so if it's not meant to be I won't literally crumble to dust or anything. That that said, knowing that both Dern & White both want to tell more stories about Amy, well, maybe I will literally crumble to dust? Who knows? Stay tuned. You guys will be the first or at least fifth or sixth people that I tell if I literally crumble to dust, I promise.
