... you can learn from:
The Faculty (1998)
Stokely: Body Snatchers is a story somebody made up, dingus. It's located in the fiction section of the library.Casey: Yeah, so is Schindler's List.
Happy 37, Clea DuVall!
Seeing Elijah Wood there though reminds me that my boyfriend asked me a couple of weeks ago what was going on with that horror movie Cooties that got a ton of buzz out of Sundance way back in January and I had to admit I have no idea. That's the one where a bunch of kindergartners get zombiefied by some rage virus and the teachers, including Elijah Wood and Allison Pill, have to fight them off. They released that glorious poster...
... but that was the last thing I'd heard. Its Wiki page says it's "planned release date is October 10th, 2014" but we'd have heard something if it was coming out in two weeks - ahh here's something: Twitch talked to Elijah in September and he offered this up:
Honestly now that I am thinking about it I wish they'd gotten some other people from The Faculty in it, wouldn't that have been great? The students have become the teachers! And we find out that Josh Hartnett (mmm Josh Hartnett) and Shawn Hatosy (mmm Shawn Hatosy) are married now. Yes please.
"The status is hopefully January of next year. It definitely won't be this year, it'll be after the first of the year, and we're looking at January, but we're still waiting to see from LionsGate where they feel like it's going to sit.
That whole journey has been amazing. It took us three years to get the movie made. And then the response was so good at Sundance. Off of the pickup from LionsGate, which was always the home we had hoped for, we ended up getting some more money to make a new ending, which we're really excited about. We only had so much money, and the ending we made, we weren't always that happy with, so we got to make a new ending and we're psyched. I'm excited for people to see it, it's really funny."
