Pink Flamingos 2: Filth's Revenge

.
Did you guys know that John Waters actually wrote a screenplay for a sequel to Pink Flamingos? It's called Flamingos Forever and he released it in a book (which also includes the screenplays for the original film as well as Desperate Living) - you can buy it right here. I only just found this out last week when I read about it in his most recent book Carsick, which is about his adventures in the real world hitchhiking across the country a couple of years ago. Have any of you read Flamingos Forever

As for Carsick I thought it got better as it went along - the best parts were the true stories of what actually happened; 2/3rds of the book is taken up by John imagining what sort of rides he could get though, and these err more towards the miss side of hit-or-miss, unfortunately. But he intersperses great bits through the whole book - his story about hanging out with some real-life Hell's Angels back in the day cracked me up. "Just in case, John. Just in case."

Really? I thought the opposite. I liked the real rides just fine but often they felt too mundane (duh, but he could've spiced them up with more inner dialogue, less this-happened-and-then-this-happened). I *loved* the fictional rides, as silly as some of those were. Some chapters were better than others, but overall they where nowhere near the miss side. But that's just my opinion. Maybe I like the guy too much. And "Flamingos Forever" is a lot of fun, even though it would've been a typical terrible sequel. Jean Hill's character is great in it. It should be made into a fake trailer for "Grindhouse 2". There should be a "Grindhouse 2".
Btw those pictures of Michelle Rodriguez and Zach Efron kissing in Italy... I'm sure you have something to say about them.
