I'm guessing it was also a happy birthday morning for Cary Fukunaga, whose True Detective got like a billion (undessssssssserved, I hiss) Emmy nominations today. I won't complain about those too much cuz I've loved Cary's movies so far and I'm looking forward to his next one with Idris Elba (who's also an Emmy nominee today!) but I do sort of want to complain about his hipster-ragamuffin look these days - I miss clean-cut Cary. Shave ya damn hippie, and then make that It movie you keep yapping about.
