Well look at that. That... look at that. That right there. Look. At that. Uhhhhhhhhh... that. That... is Tom Hardy and Matthias Schoenaerts, prime Brit beef meeting prime Belgian beef, so close their whiskers may be brushing. (ETA And you'll want to see how I photo-shopped it over at the Tumblr. You will. Trust.) It's from the movie The Drop, which used to be called Animal Rescue (via). The trailer came out a few weeks ago but it didn't have any shots like what you see up top so I never got around to posting it. That shot though... that I'll post. If the trailer were two and a half minutes of a freeze-frame of that picture, I'd have posted it. That movie's out in September.

Moving on, Matty has tons of interesting projects in the pip-line but this new one's for the record-books - he is going to co-star opposite Ralph Fiennes, Tilda Swinton, and Margot Robbie, in a "sexy thriller" from Luca Guadagnino, the director of I Am Love (thanks Mac). It'll be Luca's first English language film, even though they're shooting it in Italy.
I have to say I'm excited to see Robbie in something that's not The Wolf of Wall Street; I thought she showed promise, even in a movie with its head jammed up its own already full ass.

I've seen some candid pics of him recently. I like him but he does not know how to dress his age.
