--- Gaga For Galaxy - Yesterday I brought up the fact that the new Guardians of the Galaxy trailer was imminent and then it appeared like half an hour later - I am magic. Anyway here it is, it's a lot of fun. Bradley Cooper doesn't sound anything like Bradley Cooper to me, which relieves me - I was afraid he'd be distracting if he sounded like himself. Also yes Chris Pratt's the hotness, but I really wanna climb up Dave Bautista and make a home.
--- Spidey Forever - Not the most reliable source but this tabloid's claiming that Andrew Garfield might cash in and make four more Spider-Man
movies instead of just the final two that are planned. I really doubt
this story. He's got to want to move on to real work already (like the
Scorsese movie he's been attached to forever). But I sure don't mind
looking at him in the suit.
--- Khaleesi & Clyde - A Game of Thrones' dragon warrior princess Emelia Clarke is going to play Bonnie Parker opposite Nicholas Hoult as Clyde Barrow in a brand new movie about the Depression-era criminals called Go Down Together, based on a recent book about them that purports to tell the "untold" story. Whatever. If Emelia can get Nicky to strip down like she got Michiel Huisman to strip down on this week's episode of Thrones (and Nicky's no stranger to stripping down in front of people!) then I will watch whatever, classic film be damned.
--- Fire Balls - A pair of new Stephen King projects are in the works - the dude who directed Oculus (did anybody see - ha, see - that? I did not and am curious if I should bother) is going to direct a movie of King's novel Gerald's Game, which is about sex bondage gone terribly terribly wrong. (Similarly I've never read that book, should I?) Also TNT is going to make a sequel to Firestarter, about poor little Charlie all growed up and being tracked down blah blah fireballs. Oh my god they have got to throw all of the money at Drew Barrymore.
--- And Speaking of horror on TV (which is so wonderfully hot right now - when Buffy went off the air it felt like a wasteland but there days we've got more than we can handle, and so much of it is actually good!) one of the former Walking Dead show-runners (lord knows there have been like thirty of those) is working on a series that will spin off from The Omen, to be called Damien. It'll follow the AntiChrist's coming of age, if by age I mean evil, and clearly I mean that since I said I do.

--- Justin Smash - A little over a month to go until Justin Theroux's HBO show The Leftovers premieres and they're going all out with Theroux exploitation for their promotional materials - here's a poster for the series that basically just says "Hey look Justin Theroux's bicep is really alluring right?!?!? Watch us!" Okay I will! There's also a new clip at the link
--- Massacre Gal - Final Girl is doing a theme week! Huzzah! All week long Stacie will be taking a look at the career of actress Juliette Cummins, who was in all kinds of awesome 80s horror flicks, starting yesterday with Slumber Party Massacre II... which believe it or not I have never seen. Judging by Stacie's take on the movie, I gotta fix that right quick.
--- And Finally, here's the bun-filled trailer for Joe Manganiello's directorial debut called La Bare, which is about the thong-strapped trials and tribulations of a group of male strippers. He says he got interested in the subject doing research for Magic Mike, and yes we should all find this experience as homoerotic as it is. Bless him.

Of course read Gerald's Game! Definitely one of my favorites of Stephen King's, and it's actually the scariest book I've ever read.
I agree with Ronald - very scary and one of Stephen King's best. (I even have a Gerald's Game tattoo.)
