"A member of a film company making a gothic horror movie being helmed by noted fantasy director Guillermo del Toro was impaled on a piece of metal on the first day of filming in Hamilton. The accident at the base camp for Haunted Peak in Bayfront Park happened shortly after 4 p.m. Thursday while the crew member was leaving a trailer. Hamilton police Staff Sergeant Mike Cunliffe said the man, who was in his 60s, fell while walking down some stairs and was impaled on what he described as a "stair stabilizer." Firefighters were called to the scene and worked on removing the man from the object. Department spokesperson Claudio Mostacci said the object was "unbolted" and the man was taken to hospital with a piece of it "impaled in his buttocks." "They classified it as a piece of pipe," Mostacci added. Cunliffe said the injuries were described as not life-threatening. The man was conscious when he was transported to Hamilton General Hospital by ambulance."
(via) Not sure why they're calling it Haunted Peak, I think it's still called Crimson Peak, but this is Guillermo's gothic horror romance thing with Charlie Hunnam, Tom Hiddleston, Mia Wasikowska and Jessica Chastain. Not the best way to start a shoot, I'd wager! Glad the man is alright. Also if Charlie Hunnam ever needs his buttocks impaled...... (you knew that was coming)

Oh, please, John Waters in Dirty Ass Baltimore (my personal 'god in heaven'), let this be 'husband is secretly involved in gay relationship' material. You can throw in as much weird Del Toro monster ass-play as you want, so long as Tom and Charlie are fucking violently and passionately on a dirty leather couch. I want there to be massive complaints at how much gay sex there is in the movie. Let Tom and Charlie ask Del Toro while holding the smut-filled scripts 'are you sure this will only be two hours long and is essential to the plot?' May the FCC have to step in and rate this as porn for all the gratuitous hot, sweaty man-on-man action!
