No word on why Michael Fassbender has dropped out of the project, but The Playlist is saying that he's no longer attached to play the author Thomas Wolfe in Genius, opposite Colin Firth and Nicole Kidman, and that Jude Law has replaced him. Hey it's a Cold Mountain reunion - lucky everybody! In all seriousness I love Jude so if I can't get Michael, this will do just fine. Which reminds me that I still haven't watched Dom Hemingway. Let's try to get that done already, good grief...

Colin Firth was in Cold Mountain?
He was, don't you remember - he won an Oscar! He stomped all around chasing chickens with an awful accent, it was quite silly.
