News comes today that BD Wong, who played the scientist Henry Wu in Steven Spielberg's original 1993 movie, is returning to play the role in the upcoming Jurassic World. And his part might actually be bigger than a single scene fondling Raptor's eggs this time out! Director Colin Trevorrow points out that the character was pretty important in Crichton's original book and that he thinks there is "more to his story" than we've gotten. This is such nerd-bait for me. Remember that time I asked y'all who was hotter, BD's character or shady guy Dodgson? BD lost so I guess he's a fighter - no Dodgson keeping him down this time! And since now whenever I see BD I think of Oz, and then I think of Chris Meloni, and then I get very very warm all over, the odds are totally leaning in his favor.
