He often comes across as a blowhard and jackass but you have to hand it to Burt he was laid back and comfortable with his body when he was young. No star of his magnitude at the time would ever willingly pose for those pictures today.

Clean-shaven (in the face) Deliverance-era Burt is absolutely beautiful. He looks like Marlon Brando and Charlton Heston had a baby who was raised by a grizzly bear. HOT!
Burt Reynolds is like the definition of that french term i forget how to say it that' slike 'ugly hot'. I look at him and he shouldn't be attractive but in those movies in his heyday, damn.
