Jug-eared and adorable Russell Tovey is playing a gay footballer in a play called The Pass in the UK right now; you can read about it over at Towleroad, which is where these pictures are from.

There's a fun little chat with Russ at the NYT too (thanks Mac); here's my fave bit, where they asked him about being a sexy symbol:

"I’ve got ratty curly hair. I’ve got sticky-out ears. I‘ve got a little troll nose. I’m like a little pale street urchin. I’m lucky that I’ve sort of aged well into my face. I don’t think people are repelled by me. But one never sees how other people see you in a mirror at all — ever. "

I think you can relax about people being "repelled" by you, dude. Anyway since I'm never going to get to see this play I'm mostly concerned with all these pictures, which delightfully imply that Russ is basically in his underwear for the whole show.
